Iād like to thank you all for showing so much care and concern for my little boy. It was so moving to see a flood of prayers come our way. I am truly blessed to have so many people care for my little boy. THANK YOU!
David is doing so much better. After our trip to the doctor Thursday, we figured out that he has Strep Throat, and although it hasnāt been easy, it is nothing compared to the many ailments that cause seizures, and for that, I am so grateful.
Strep throat has a history of causing vomiting and sudden fever spikes, which is why he had the seizure early Tuesday morning, and why he has vomited twice this week. His temperature is still not normal but we are keeping him on a rotation of Tylenol, Motrin, and Antibiotics per doctorsā orders. Weāve thrown in some cool baths as well when the temperature went above 101 a few times.
I am officially petrified of fevers but at least now, I am equipped with the knowledge to prevent a seizure as much as possible.
