OUR AMAZING SUPPORT STAFF

Our office runs smoothly thanks to the tireless work of our amazing support staff. Our support staff handles everything from e-filing, preparation of correspondence, phone calls, planning special events, personal assisting, client management, accounts receivables, running firm errands, and special projects. Anything and everything to make sure the attorneys and legal professionals can concentrate on our most important person: THE CLIENT.

JACQUELINE ZACARIAS

Client Relations Manager

Jacqueline, or as we affectionately call her, Jackie, is a graduate of Coral Park Sr. High. Jackie is patient, empathetic, a great listener and has the most positive outlook of anyone we know. As our Client Relations Manager, Jackie may be one of the first people you interact with at IVPA. Jackie’s role is to ensure that clients receive top-notch service and to follow up with some of our favorite past clients. She is an excellent collaborator and has great interpersonal skills.  When she’s not making our clients happy, Jackie dedicates her time at her son’s school volunteering as Room Mom and on the School’s PTO (VP and Treasurer as of late). She works diligently on multiple fundraisers and events to support teacher’s and children’s programs. Her hobbies include spending time and enjoying the company of her family with her amazing daughter, son and incredible husband. She also enjoys working out, baking, organizing, watching Hallmark and her never gets old Soaps – General Hospital, Days and Young and the Restless. She also (and we quote) “Love, Love, Love going to Disney with the fam.”

Lourdes enjoys taking on challenges herself as well as giving others opportunities that challenge them to exceed themselves in some way.  She has a “can-do” attitude as well as a steady inner drive.  She’s been with her husband for over 20 years and has a toddler son.  In her spare time, she runs a laser engraving business, makes beaded bracelets and is an active volunteer in her son’s school.

MIGUEL PERMUY

Law Clerk

Miguel was born in Miami, Florida. He began to help his dad as a carpenter and clerk at the age of fourteen and learned many business and communication skills at an early age. He would work in the office and in clients’ homes installing kitchen cabinets while also working part-time at Macy’s as a sales representative. At Macy’s he met many executives that mentored and taught him many valuable lessons which he applies today. He has, since graduating from Killian High School (go Cougars!) earned his Associate in Arts in Business Administration from Miami-Dade College with honors in 2022. Currently, he is enrolled at the University of Miami studying political science and economics with a minor in business law. He also works at the law library as well. His most important lesson: personal touches always matter. Whether it’s remembering a personal anecdote or treating the client like one of the family, it is so rewarding to make those you are working for feel like they are just as important as the project at hand. When he’s not studying, he enjoys playing piano and guitar, practicing martial arts (working towards his brown belt), and playing dominoes with family.
